Engineer Trainee

Duration- 1 year

Completion-

• Successful trainees will be considered for full-time employment as Assistant Manager (IL6) at Tata Steel.
• Evaluation: Trainees will undergo regular evaluations throughout the training period.

Minimum Education Qualifications

1. Diploma Holders: Candidates who have completed a three-year diploma and directly joined the 2nd year of engineering are eligible, provided they are in the final year of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg) [Batch of 2024].
2. Date of Passing: Candidates must have completed their minimum qualification exam no earlier than March 2020.
3. Program Requirement: Candidates must have attended a full-time AICTE/UGC approved campus program.
4. General Candidates: Must have achieved a minimum of 6.5 CGPA (or 65% if percentage) in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg)/M.Tech/M.Sc. examinations.
5. Transgender, PwD, SC/ST Candidates: Must have achieved a minimum of 6.0 CGPA (or 60% if percentage) in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg)/M.Tech/M.Sc. examinations.
6. Preference: Candidates who are domiciled in the State of Jharkhand and Odisha will be given preference.

Age Requirements

1. General Candidates: Should not be more than 30 years old as of the last date of the advertisement.
2. Transgender, PwD, SC/ST Candidates: Should not be more than 32 years old as of the last date of the advertisement.

1. Stipend: Engineer Trainees will receive an all-inclusive stipend of ₹30,000 per month during the 1-year training period.
2. Medi-Claim Coverage: Trainees will be covered under a Medi-Claim scheme for themselves only, which includes:

• Hospitalization coverage of ₹2,50,000 per annum
• OPD coverage of ₹6,000 per annum

3. Post-Training Compensation: Upon successful completion of training, candidates appointed as Assistant Managers will receive a CTC of ₹7 lakhs per annum, along with additional perks and benefits as per company policy.
